I had an idea for a web comic once. It was called "Worst Comic Ever". It was going to be about the lives of two guys who found a time machine in their back yard and traveled through time. They would go through random periods in time and just mess with people with their vast knowledge of the future. It was somewhat inspired by Dave Chappelle's "
Time Haters". I never followed through on the whole thing for whatever reason. Now that I think about it, it would probably be tough to come up with something regularly.
The character design came from how I used to draw people when I was like 5 years old. Head, legs, arms, and no body. I wonder if I was even aware people had bodies when I was young? That'd be so weird if we didn't.

I love the concept. I can't remember too well but wasn't there some show where a guy in a big orange afro going around kicking people in the junk? I would have loved to see a comic of that with time traveling. There are so many in the past that need that kick.
@godfatherofgreenbay - Yeah, there was a short film like that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kicked_in_the_Nuts
Not gonna lie, this kind of reminds me of Kate Beaton, who I think I told you about. www.harkavagrant.com
@godfatherofgreenbay - The Time Haters went back in time and beat the crap out of Hitler. But, I guess most of us would probably go back in time and beat the crap out of Hitler.
@TheModernBunny - I haven't seen kicked in the nuts in such a long time. Thank you!
@AmeSoeur - Yup, you told me about it. I like her style. It's really simple.
My mom has this home video of me at age three, drawing a picture of my parents on a Magna Doodle. When I was done, I showed it to the camera and it looked like a pair of boobs chillin' on the grass. That's what your comic reminds me of.
You should still totally do it--artistic ability has absolutely nothing to do with awesome humor (see: xkcd and Cyanide and Happiness, they both use minimalist styles, but it's sill amazing as hell). So make this comic happen! :)
haha, they look like little poof balls, with not so much poof... Am I even spelling poof right? eh.
In my comic, I don't really have a story line, just doodle random events/conversations/etc. Even that is hard to stick with on a regularly basis..
I don't think white supremacists would. They'd probably go back to rescue him from all the beatings he would receive.
I think everyone goes through that drawing people with no bodies phase. I think it's like when we're little if it's unimportant we forget it's there. The head's important, the arms and legs are important, but what does the torso actually DO? I often think of these things ...
