Following up my
last post, I wanted to talk about how peaceful this place is. You don't hear a thing out here. It's completely empty. You're out there with only yourself. You start to think about what's going on in your life and how you're dealing with certain things. But once the thoughts start running rampant in your head, the power of this place takes over. When you're at the top of the world, you realize how small you are. On a cosmic scale, your problems are so insignificant. They don't matter. Being in a place like this is like hitting the reset button on life. It strips everything away from you, which, in a backwards kind of way, can be empowering.
I don't think my words could ever do this place justice. Maybe the pictures can speak for themselves.

For the record, hiking to the top of this place with the temperature dropping to the point where I couldn't even hold my camera straight and waiting an hour for the sun to start setting was completely worth it.

...continued love.
insignificance is the fear of a lot of people... in a weird way, it's like my dream
Those are gorgeous! Wow.
great work
I really like how in the 3rd picture the little tree is blowing in the wind..
Once again, Beautiful pictures!
wow, beautiful pictures! i KNEW that was the ocean glittering in the last pic, but i hadn't looked at your last post yet. then i did and i was even more impressed. beautiful landscape and wonderful talent.
Yeah, thanks Fali. I'll try to.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! hope you had a great day.
love the pics, by the way
@NSaNePaRaDiSe - Thanks. It was crazy to see your update in my inbox. I had to do a double take. It was an unexpected and welcomed surprise. You should really come back to Xanga. It's different, but it's good. You'd like it.
@Queen_of_You188 - Continued :)
@JesyCole - I didn't even notice it while taking the photo. Apparently, staring directly at the sun is a really bad idea.
@DilogicalDisorder - Isn't it awesome? I don't think that photo could've come out any better. I really wanted to get the ocean in one of the photos. It was the one shot I really wanted to get while I was there. I got really lucky to catch the colors that I did, too.
it really worth it!!!
@Lithium98 - Hahah, Yes. I always try to take pictures during a sunny day of myself. Sun makes my eyes look pretty.. Bad thing is.. I have to TRY to keep my eyes open long enough!
@Lithium98 - The things we do for beauty!
As for going completely blind.. No Thanks, I would have to pass on that one! :P
But I have secretly always wanted glasses..
(You know about my "fetish" / "love" for glasses) ^_^
@Lithium98 - I have been tempted to do so! :D
I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful I think that is.
